Banda Kaba is a village with heritage status within Malacca Town, Malacca. The village has been a settlement that dates back to the Portuguese era. Its name is said to derive from Portuguese, to denote the last settlement at the edge of town. The "town" during the Portuguese period, was surrounded by the fortress, Fortaleza de Malaca, which was dismantled by the British, save for Porta de Santiago.

Banda Kaba was according heritage status together with Bukit Cina, joining other settlements in Malacca Town to have been given similar status such as Kampung Morten, Chitty Village, Chinatown and the Portuguese Settlement.
